Your challenge is to give life to what is written, to
create or re-create an experience for the listener.
 | Choose poetry worthy of public presentation, which uses language as an
art form, which "says something" to the listener which goes beyond this
time and this place. |
 | Examine the selection to discover what the poetry is "saying".
|
 | Work with the rhyme and rhythm so that it adds to the pleasure of the
experience rather than dominate or distract. |
 | Examine how the selections are related to each other. The
introduction and transitional material between selections will help
clarify the relationship. |
