Your challenge is to give life to what is written, to create or re-create an experience for the listener.
bulletChoose poetry worthy of public presentation, which uses language as an art form, which "says something" to the listener which goes beyond this time and this place.
bulletExamine the selection to discover what the poetry is "saying".
bulletWork with the rhyme and rhythm so that it adds to the pleasure of the experience rather than dominate or distract.
bulletExamine how the selections are related to each other.  The introduction and transitional material between selections will help clarify the relationship.
